Why schools are failing our boys – The Washington Post


Sounds just like my boy. In our homeschool, I let him move around as much as he needs. I can still get the learning bit done and he’s a bright kid. He doesn’t need a lot of repetition to understand things – in fact he *hates* repetition and will tell me so if I repeat stuff.

He is very strong in Maths and not so strong in English and writing, but that’s okay because he can learn at his own pace at home. He won’t be made to feel bad for not “getting” things as fast as other children.
